That warmer weather I’ve been hoping for has finally arrived! But now I am frantically looking for outfits that keep me cool. Thanks goodness I have these DC bloggers. In a spread on Refinery29, bloggers from the nation’s capitol show us how to style stripes for the warm summer months. You all know how much I love my stripes, so this story was perfect for me. Shenae Grimes from 90210 got married this weekend in a secret ceremony. She went the non-traditional route and opted for a black Vera Wang gown. While I am more for the traditional white dress, I think this black one looks stunning on her. Obviously it fits her style and I think that is more important to cater to than to stick to the norm. I thought she looked gorgeous. And the red flowers seem to compliment the black perfectly. Well done Shenae!

The long awaited The Great Gatsby finally comes out today. Personally, I couldn’t be more excited. I don’t know what I’m the most excited for. Is it that I finally get to see my favorite book played out in modern technology? Is it the fact that I get to stare at Leo for the good portion of two hours? Or is it the fashion? I have been obsessing over these Chanel Espadrilles for some time now. It seems that almost everything blogger I follow has a pair. They are so cute and casual that they would be perfect with just a tee and jeans for Spring. Unfortunately, these babes are going to have to remain on my wish list. And by wish list I mean ‘never going to have because I don’t have that kind of money.’ I guess I’ll just have to resort to living vicariously through my favorite fashion bloggers.

Kate Moss is looking gorg on the cover of UK Vogue June 2013. Not only is the cover baller, but her 60s themed spread on the inside is just as admirable. My favorite by far is this look. The Met Gala was last night and the fashion was incredible. With the punk theme, there were many that took the theme to the extreme, aka Miley, and there were others that incorporated it to perfection. My absolutely fav was SJP, or should I say Carrie Bradshaw, it looks like she may be making a comeback. OMG this girl looked amazing! That head piece was the icing on the cake. My other favorite was Kerry Washington. That touch of punk in the leather gloves was fabulous. My other favorites included Jessica Alba in her Tory Burch cut-out gown, Jennifer Lawrence who can never do any wrong, Cameron Diaz and her spike belt, Brooklyn Decker in her flirty flapper dress, and of course Anne Hawthaway with the blonde debut. Anna Wintour certainly knows how to throw one helluva party!

As many of us know, the Kentucky Derby was this past Saturday. If you’re like me, you didn’t tune in to watch the actual race (congrats to Orb), but instead you tuned in to see those fabulous hats many of the females adorned. Some were pretty fantastic, and some were straight up train wrecks. I particularly liked this look on Lauren Conrad. I thought it was appropriate for the occasion and was overall marvelous. The sophistication of the overall look mixed with the, compared to most, understated head garnish was perfection.

The premiere for The Great Gatsby was this week, and the fashion was fierce. It only seemed fitting that it would be to correspond with the incredible costuming of the movie. I especially loved this Lanvin look on Carey Mulligan. Some other stunners included the beautiful Isla Fisher in Dolce & Gabbana, the fabulous Jenna Lyons, the always dapper Leo, and the fashion great Anna Wintour.

This nautical spread in Vogue Paris is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous models, mixed with cool Spring wear and the crystal blue water is exquisite. I love every piece of clothing in this feature; all that white, red, and blue. If this doesn’t make you want to go sailing, I don’t know what will.

Wedding season is upon us, and personally, I love this time of year. Who doesn’t love getting all dressed up, watching a couple begin their lives together, and eating free cake? This is my ultimate look to wear to a wedding, especially a Spring wedding. It isn’t too fancy, yet just cool enough to allow you to have a good time. Add a pretty black shawl and I would say you are good to go. Sign me up for this look for the wedding I’ll be attending in June!

I am loving this look Kate Middleton was spotted in yesterday on her second wedding anniversary. I love the monochromatic coloring of the orange and the light, Springtime feel it has going. This girl’s maternity style is impeccable. She certainly knows how to dress her baby bump in the most flattering way. As if this should come as any surprise since her style is incredible even when she isn’t preggers.

I can’t be the only one who is loving the crop top trend this Spring, right? While I personally will not be trying out this trend, I think it is super fresh and perfect for the upcoming warm weather. I particularly adore this look on Dree Hemingway at Coachella. I think she looks fresh, young, and cool which is everything you need in a Spring wardrobe.

There is just something about this photo that makes me not want to turn away. Maybe it’s the dark goth feel it has going on, or maybe it’s the gorgeousness of the dress, or possibly the eclectic mix of the two. Whatever the reason, this picture is beautiful. I also wouldn’t mind snatching up one or both of these dresses. The prints and silhouettes are fantastic.

Have y’all heard about this new app that covers First Lady Michelle Obama’s wardrobe? Michelle’s Style List not only tells you what the FLOTUS is wearing, but also provides direct links to sites where you can purchase the garments for yourself. I can’t say that I had ever heard of Mara Hoffman until I saw this feature on Refinery 29. But I can now say that I am a huge fan, especially of her Fall 2013 line. I’ve recently developed a fascination with the ‘new bohemian’ look, and this collection only emphasizes that. This collection features brilliant colors and patterns, and I honestly wish I could put every piece into my closet. The best part about this collection is that it can transition so well into Spring and Summer.

I am loving this casual look Julianne Hough has going on. As simple as it looks, it is still so very chic. White blazers seem to be making a way back into the fashion scene as a season staple. Looks like I’ll finally be able to pull mine out from a few years ago. I’d also love to get my hands on her shoes to wear with some of my new flirty spring dresses. All in all, Ms. Hough has been killing it with her style lately and I couldn’t be happier.
